Prime Video has added a great movie to its catalog: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. This is a successful introduction to hunger GamesThe films show the early life of Coriolanus Snow (played by the late Donald Sutherland) before he became the tyrannical president of Panem.

the story
Ten years after the bloody rebellion in Panem, young aristocrat Coriolanus Snow (Blythe) hopes to win a scholarship to save his family’s honor. To do so, he must win the Hunger Games. Snow becomes a mentor to the impoverished females of District 12: Lucy Gray (Ziegler), a singing rebel.
With ratings falling, the mastermind behind this gladiatorial battle, Dr. Gaul (Davis), sets out to make the games more exciting (and dangerous) than ever. However, Snow develops feelings for Gray, and thus ends up in a battle between different worlds, between good and evil.

The film is adapted by director Francis Lawrence (also responsible for the last four films with Jennifer Lawrence) was well received by audiences at the end of last year. If you are a fan of the series, you simply must watch this prequel.
