The regular competition will conclude next week. Excitement is key, although the risks are not the same across the board. That's why the Pro League is making a number of changes to the calendar.
To avoid possible fixing, all matches on the final day are traditionally played at the same time. At least in theory, because, as is the case every year, the amendment is made at the last minute.
It has been rescheduled for four games
It was previously announced that the match between Anderlecht and KV Kortrijk, both of whom are already certain to participate in the Champions and Relegation play-offs respectively, will be moved to Saturday evening at 8:45pm.
Meanwhile, the Professional League announced that three more matches will be rescheduled. Standard and Eupen will also compete against each other a day earlier than expected. The match at Sclessin is now scheduled to kick off on Saturday at 6:15 p.m.
Explanation of the professional league
On Sunday, the top-flight clash between Antwerp and Union has been moved forward to 4pm, while STV and Club Brugge will face off at 1:30pm. Other matches will be played at 6:30 p.m.
The Professional League said: “These matches are being transferred for organizational reasons and at the request of the rights holder to publish the largest possible number of matches. This is possible because they are no longer important for the classification of points of sale.”
