For those who can’t believe it yet: Summer is right around the corner next month and that calls for a splash of color. Could you use some inspiration for your own wardrobe? These trendy colors will be in the spotlight this coming season and are perfect for colorful touches in your outfits. Just experiment!
Yellow butter
The distinctive color of the summer months is hiding in plain sight. Butter yellow — yes, the soft shade between canary yellow and beige — is on the rise. How on earth can you combine this color? Well, where you used to wear khaki or cream, you can now wear butter yellow. It looks great with black, burgundy and navy blue, but light washed denim works well too.
light blue
Almost the entire spectrum of blue was clearly visible on the spring-summer 2024 catwalks, but it was this particular shade of light blue that caught the attention of all fashion journalists and designers. This color suits everyone – every skin and hair tone – making it universally flattering.
green lemon
Lime green already dominated the streets during last year’s fashion weeks, but it’s making major inroads this summer. Lime green lends itself perfectly to color blocking, but can also be beautifully combined with a neutral color like white. The shade is delicious, though, and creates a gorgeous look instantly.
raspberry
Pink makes everything better, right? Last summer’s bright “Barbie” pink was a real hit, but this year it’s better to choose deeper shades like raspberry and fuchsia. Add a touch of purple or red (that’s another color that’s still going strong) for a bright and unexpected touch in your outfit.
Summer white
There’s nothing like a refreshing summer look, especially if it’s white. Although white is a timeless choice for summer, the resurgence among the fashion crowd of a monochromatic look is one for the books. Choose pieces in the same shades of white to create a bright white atmosphere and opt for bold silhouettes and textures.
