These five duos take on the challenge in ‘Holiday home for life’ and infamous site manager Sanchez returns too | showbiz

In 2017, Francisco Sanchez Santos can still be seen in ‘Ons Eerste Huis’, but watching Flanders will basically get to know Sanchez from his role on the popular show The Block. Then he often shook his knees to the participants and also allowed him to play the role of an on-duty inspector in the VTM program “Holiday home for life”.

(laughs) No, seriously, I don’t sit all day waiting for another TV show. But when a good TV opportunity comes up, I won’t miss it. And that show is totally my thing. At the end of the trip , I check completed vacation homes and score points,” he says in an interview with Het Nieuwsblad. Along with Dina Tersago and two experts from DIY store Hubo and BerryAlloc, a flooring company, he was awarded a place on the jury. He will also visit Mark Cooke as a guest jury member. In Holiday Home for Life, the five participants are given the task of renovating a chalet in Derby with their own hands. Whoever comes out with the best result can go on vacation for at least twenty years in return. Although it won’t be an easy task, because the materials the duo need for regenerations they have to earn during some survival missions. VTM announced exactly who will be on the program this morning. Amy is a digital marketer and Irwin recently started working as a mover after working as a plumber for years. Amy never grew up and her father would have to coach her. They are willing to work hard, but most of all they want to laugh and have fun.

Christopher of Durn and Hana of Leuven have been married for 6 years. They just renovated their own home in Holsbeek. Hana works as a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit so she always knows how to keep her calm in stressful situations. Christopher works as an administrative assistant and has one big hobby: renovation. After two years they are finally ready in their house, but they are already looking forward to a new project.

Awwad and Tim have been married for 7 years and know each other through and through. Due to his job as event manager, Tim is a good planner and a busy bee. Awad designs prosthetics and prefers comfort and peace in life. The decor is really a hobby of the loving couple, which you can see from their beautiful home in Dam. The two have already gone through many renovations, but basically given instructions. So now they have to roll up their sleeves themselves.

Pauline comes from the coast and Melissa from Kempen. Pauline works as a content creator, Melissa as a teacher and photographer as a minor. They got to know each other at an event and we clicked right away. Both the ladies and their partner have already completed the necessary renovations, so the hard work doesn’t deter them.

The youngest duo in the gang are Ludwijk and Marcel. These boys are Ghent’s roommates who share their hobby with spikeball. Ludwijk is a youth welfare educator and works as Marcel Boustany. They love to roll up their sleeves together. They like to make up for the fact that they have hardly any experience with renovation with their great enthusiasm and perseverance to do so day and night.

“Holiday home for life” can be watched on VTM starting July 5.
