Summer in northern Morocco presents a mixed picture. Although the number of tourists in popular resorts such as Tamuda Bay is increasing again after an initial decline, the impact of rising prices is still being felt.
According to official data, the number of visitors to the region has increased by more than 5% in recent weeks. The number of overnight stays in hotels and the consumption of water and electricity also show a positive trend. This recovery is mainly due to the arrival of Moroccan families from abroad who spend their summer vacation in their homeland.

Prices have risen sharply, especially in the popular coastal areas, making a holiday in northern Morocco much more expensive for many people.
