Issues with payment terminals of various banks have been resolved, including Argenta, bpost Bank (now part of BNP Paribas Fortis), vdk Bank, Crelan, AXA Bank Belgium and Eurobank. Their machines have been fully operational again since 1 a.m., according to a press release from their partnership with Jofico.
“The manufacturer’s technical teams are working all the time to identify and resolve errors,” she said. Jovico and the banks apologize for the inconvenience. Jovico reported on Thursday evening that several ATMs had been out of service since that day due to technical problems, but no transactions were lost.
Jofico, the fully joint financial company, is responsible for the management of approximately one thousand ATMs of Argenta Bank, bpost, vdk and the three banks of the Crelan Group, Crelan, AXA Bank Belgium and Eurobank.
Jofico manages these banks' ATMs, which are located in bank branches and operate under the brand name of the bank in question. However, the big four banks operate differently, with bank-neutral ATMs at their own locations.
