The site announced Sunday that Twitter has blocked the personal account of Republican House member Marjorie Taylor Green for violating its “misinformation about COVID-19” policy.
Proof: Belgian
The Georgia MP is an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump and continues to echo his claims that the 2020 presidential election was “stolen”. Green is known for his stance against vaccines and his statements about the epidemic, which he greatly exaggerates.
Twitter said it was about Green’s personal account mtgreenee. Congress still has access to his official Twitter account RepMTG. Green frequently used his personal account.
Responding to the move, Green said on Twitter, “America is the enemy and cannot handle the truth. No matter, I’m show the United States that we do not need them and that it is time to defeat the enemy.”
Twitter did not specify what tweet deserved the Green sentence. His account was suspended for a week in August after he tweeted that the Covit-19 vaccine should not be FDA approved, as they did not appear to slow the spread of the virus.
