Developer Alessandro Paluzzi first found references to the feature last year and chirp This is public. Now met again Guide: He was able to write a Tweet showing who he’s collaborating with on this Tweet below the writing field.
After a question from Take Crunch A Twitter spokesperson admitted that such an option is being “explored”. Twitter declined to reveal more details.
Collaborations should work something like this: You can ask public accounts if they want to collaborate with you on a Tweet. The account that asks you to join should follow you.
If they say yes, you can work on the tweet together. A Tweet will be categorized as the work of one or more authors after it is posted.
Experience the new features
This feature may be useful for corporate accounts and Twitter influencers. Often, behind the scenes, several tweets are already written and published in collaboration, but now this must be done either via a shared account, under a single username, or by creating a thread or retweeting a quote.
Twitter has been busy developing and testing new features lately. With things like subscription service Twitter Blue and “Super Follows”, which allow people to sign up for a Twitter account in exchange for money, the social media platform seems to be looking for ways to make more money.
Whether and when the Twitter collaboration will be rolled out is unknown.
