Union SG have signed a new agreement with Philippe Bormans and Chris O’Loughlin. They will remain with the Brussels club until 2028.

The CEO and sporting director of Union SG has signed a four-year contract. “I am very pleased that Philip and Chris will stay with us for at least four more seasons. This allows us to extend the work that the three of us have done at Union for a full decade,” said Chairman Alex Muzio.

Philip Bormans (37) has been CEO of Union since 2018, when chairman Muzio and Langford Holdings Limited took over the club. Chris O’Loughlin (45) started at Union in 2019 as athletic director.

CEO Philipp Bormans: “I have been here for six years, three years in 1B, and three years in 1A. Especially in the last three seasons we have seen many wonderful things. The agreement for the next four years proves that there is great trust between the two parties. I look forward to continuing our cooperation With colleagues I already work with.”

The new stadium on the Bempt site in Forest remains important to the club’s near and long-term future. “Building the new stadium is the most important challenge. We really want to do it now. In addition, we will work to further professionalize our youth work and create our own training center for our first team.

For Chris O’Loughlin, the commitment between himself and the club is clear: “I’m very passionate about what me and my team are doing here, and the St Guilloise Association means a lot to me.”
