(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Many more new single-family homes were sold in the United States in March. This emerged from figures from the U.S. Department of Commerce on Friday.
The number of new single-family homes increased by 20.7 percent to 1.02 million units. The increase was less than 67 percent year-on-year.
March 2006 marked a strong increase in sales.
In March 2020, home sales fell more than 15 percent on a monthly basis. On an annual basis, the decline was then less than 10 percent.
The average house price last month was 7,397,800. A year ago it was 5 375,300.

Hmmm, that makes sense, people are leaving the cities (very insecure, no police). So people are drawn to villages and beautiful places. In the US you can leave your own home by giving the keys to the bank, so the most flexible housing market. Vacancies in large cities have increased. Cities are really poor. But there is another argument, namely Joe Biden’s free checks (U $ 300 per week).
Those checks are tentative, but Americans believe that tentative is a reconsideration.
Joe Biden will continue to support the community organization for many years to come, so buy, buy, buy.
