“Vodafone will officially sell Google Pixels”
There will be a new official Google partner in the Netherlands, or so it seems. Vodafone has set up a whole webpage where those interested in the Google Pixel 8a can sign up, it has been discovered Planet robot. This way, potential buyers are kept informed of all kinds of rumours. The name Google Pixel 8a is also mentioned at the bottom of the page.
The Pixel 8a has not been officially introduced, but it will likely happen next month. It is still unknown whether other Pixel phones will also be available for sale at Vodafone. We know, among others, the regular Pixel 8, the Google Pixel 8 Pro and of course the Pixel 7 series.
This makes Vodafone the second provider in the Netherlands where you can buy a Pixel smartphone. Odido and Google have had a partnership for some time and you can also contact Belsimpel. With the latter, you can actually buy a Google Pixel with a Vodafone or Odidio subscription, or choose another service provider.
This is what we expect from the Google Pixel 8a
The Pixel 8a is positioned below the current Pixel 8 devices. We expect the premium Pixel to once again appear with a camera strip on the back. It has two lenses and on the front there is one camera placed in a small hole.
The 6.1-inch display has a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes it run very smoothly and it is an AMOLED panel. This means that black is really black and colors pop. According to rumours, the same self-developed Tensor chip is on board as in the Google Pixel 8 (Pro).
This device is also expected to receive seven years of Android and security updates, just like its more expensive siblings. Google's developer conference is scheduled to take place on May 14, and the Google Pixel 8a is expected to be officially unveiled after that.
