It will be 33 or 34 degrees in Austin on Sunday, but with the air much drier in Qatar than it was two weeks ago, drivers will be much less likely to suffer from suffocation. Rain and more humid air is coming in from the Gulf of Mexico, but it won’t arrive until after the race.
United States GP is hot, but different from the heat in Qatar two weeks ago. It was 39 degrees during the day near Doha. In the evening, the temperature dropped to 32 degrees, but the humidity rose to almost 80%, making it very stuffy.
The temperature during the race in Austin will be 33 or 34 degrees in Qatar two weeks ago. As the race is held during the day, the air is very dry and humidity can be around 40 to 50%. It copes with the heat without being too stressful.
Rain on the way from the south
Showers in the Gulf of Mexico moving toward Austin. The rain is slow moving and only possible during the day on Monday or Monday night. Rainfall makes the air more humid and thus oppressive.
