The latest Windows 11 update has treated the system with more than 150 tweaks and new features. One is the Snipping Tool, which now flawlessly extracts text from screenshots and creates narrated video screenshots.
Step 1: Text extractor
Update 23H2 for Windows 11 adds a new OCR (Optical Text Recognition) engine to the default screen capture software. For example, when you open a web page and click Windows key + Shift + S To open the Snipping Tool, you’ll still use the button new To take a picture of the entire screen, the active window, or a specific area on the screen. When the result is displayed in the program, a new button will appear: Text actions. Clicking this will start the system’s text recognition and the Snipping Tool will select all of the text. Choose what you want to record: the entire screen or just a specific area. You can track the recording time at the counter.
