Tensions within the team Red Bull Racing continues to blow people's minds. It is now clear that there is internal chaos. With competition they follow things closely, however Toto Wolff does not believe Red Bull will collapse any time soon.
Riots surrounding the team leader Christian Horner made several headlines last month. Red Bull acquitted Horner of the inappropriate conduct charge, but that was not the end of the matter. Jos Verstappen has responded critically to Horner and Helmut Marko suggested it might be stopped. This in turn led to rumors about a possible departure Max Verstappen's Mercedes.
Mercedes is closely monitoring the tense situation at Red Bull. However, team boss Toto Wolff does not expect Red Bull to let things fall apart. Speaking to international media, Wolff said Red Bull is not pressing the self-destruct button: “At the moment, it doesn't look like they're going to press that button, because they're crossing the line first and second with tremendous force.” “These things can cause delays, but I think we have to focus on ourselves. What we have to do is give our drivers the best car possible because our drivers are not the problem.”
