Wout van Aert rides the Tour de France in a modified version of the champion jersey

Jumbo-Visma allows cycling fans to choose which jersey the team will wear at the start of next Saturday’s Tour de France. There are many fans’ names on the T-shirts. Since Wout van Aert has become a Belgian champion, he will not play in this uniform. But the fans’ names are also printed on his three Belgian colors, says the Dutch team on Twitter.
Since the Jumbo-Visma’s regular jersey and the leader’s yellow jersey are the same, the Tour organization and UCI asked the team to ride in a modified jersey. The opportunity to do something special was the team’s idea. So he left the choice of jersey in the hands of bike enthusiasts. On each contestant’s jersey are the names of the fans who purchased the selected jersey between April 19 and 28.
