Check out how the ocean descends:

Four large parachutes slowed the capsule’s descent before it descended into the water. Then the boats pulled the crew out of the water.

Billionaire Jared Isakman, 38, who paid for the trip, tweeted with the three people brought by the captain: “It’s been a great trip for us, and we’re just getting started.” “Congratulations, Inspiration4,” SpaceX President Elon Musk tweeted after landing on the water. Inspiration 4 is the name given to this mission.

The spacecraft, carrying four civilians on board, took off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. Since then, the rocket has circled the Earth at a distance of up to 590 kilometers at a speed of about 28 thousand kilometers per hour. Every day the crew saw 15 sunrises and sunsets.

The rocket was farther from the Earth’s surface than the International Space Station, which orbits the Earth at 420 kilometers.
