Manchester United loses to Crystal Palace. Former Genkie Daniel Munoz had two assists.
Manchester United were dealt a huge blow on Monday in the race to reach European football and finish in the top six. United suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace, 14th in the English Premier League. A result that put pressure on Erik ten Hag, following a draw with Burnley the previous week.
A former Jupiler Pro League star played a key role in the match. Daniel Muñoz (27), who left Racing Genk in January, was in the starting line-up and provided two assists for Michael Olise.
The Colombian appears to have been a bargain for Crystal Palace. Munoz was bought from Genk for €8 million and has been a regular in the starting eleven since his arrival. He now has 3 assists to his name at the club.
Ma Man United. As far as he’s concerned, it’s all boring misery. This thirteenth (!) defeat of the season is a (low) record for the club. Furthermore, Ten Hag has conceded 81 goals this season, the highest number since 1977.
